Most of her research concentrates on End User Programming, Computer Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) and Human-Computer Interaction (HCI). Prior to teaching at Penn State, Rosson taught at the Virginia Tech Computer Science department and worked as a researcher and manager at IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center.
